Sevens Football Tournament for Indian Nurses in Qatar as part of the UNIQ Nurses Sports Fiesta 2021-22
120 Nurses in 8 teams from various health institutions participated in the competition.
#Alpha_FC represents Qatar Red Crescent crowned the title by defeating #Medicos_FC.
Mr.Nizar Kamassery became player of the tournament and Mr. Shafeer as the best goal keeper.
UNIQ Patron and Vision Group MD Mr. Nawfal NM,Mr. Sabid Pambadi UNIQ General Secretary, ICBF President Mr.Ziad Usman, Indian Sports Center Vice President Mr. Sheji, ICBF Secretary Mr. Sabith Saheer, Dr. Anwar Muhmed, Dr.Fuad from IDC attended the inauguration session.

Ambassador of India to Qatar H.E. Dr. Deepak Mittal India in Qatar (Embassy of India, Doha) Bharatiya Rajdoot- Doha graced the occasion by handing over the trophy and cash prize to the title winners.

Large number of Nursing families participated in the entertainment and fun games organised for families and kids cordinated by Mrs.Bindu, Mrs. Jancy and Mr. Sajeer the executive members.
Community leaders commented that the competitions and entertainment, which are specially designed for families and children, are a great source of inspiration and joy for nursing families during Covid period services.
Mr. Nizar Cheruvath, sports wing lead express his gratitude to the participants,sponsors, UNIQ members and supporters. He also stated that such sports events will continue to be organised for the sports excellence of Indian Nursing community.
Mr. Ajmal Shams conveyed to the UNIQ members that cricket tournament will held soon as final event of NURSE SPORTS FIESTA 2022.
The dedicated team work and enthusiasm of UNIQ Members made this event a grand Success.
