UNIQ CRICKET LEAGUE SEASON 2
Stunning Conclusion of UNIQ Cricket League Season 2.
UNIQ (United Nurses of India-Qatar), the first affiliated Indian Nurses Association in GCC, organized its second Cricket tournament for Indian Nurses in Qatar.
230 above Nurses from Different healthcare Facilities participated in 16 Teams, BARWA_ROCKERS became the Winner and LEGENDS_QRC became the Runner up.
Even though all of them played very well, Mr_Abdul_Shaheed was recognized as Player of the Tournament, Best Batsman Mr. Raseel Aman, Best Bowler Mr. Sahil Basheer & Team_Brave_Warriors were awarded for the Fair_Play in consideration to their Team discipline and professionalism.
Cricket Tournament Season 2 was Inaugurated by Mr. Sheji Valiyakath (ISC Vice-president) & Mr. Sabith Saheer, (ICBF Secretary) on 9th September 2022 at MIC Sports complex Cricket Stadium, Mesaieed.
Quarter, Semi-Finals, and Final Match held on 16th September 2022 at MIC Sports complex Cricket Stadium, Mesaieed.
The closing ceremony was presided by Mr.Nizar Cheruvath Head of UNIQ Sports and the Prize distributions were done by our Chief Guest H.E Dr.Deepak Mittal (Indian Ambassador to QATAR) Dr.Mohan Thomas ( ISC President), Mr. Cristopher Raja (ICC Cricket Coach) & along other UNIQ officials.
H.E Dr.Deepak Mittal, was amazed by the participation of 230 above Players and appreciated UNIQ and its Team for this well-organized tournament.
UNIQ extended its words of appreciation and thanks to the sponsors and its Family members for their support.
Mr.Ajmal Shams (Sports Wing executive committee member) said that we will continue such activities for the Indian Nursing Community here in Qatar which will boost the physical and mental wellness of the Nurses.
