UNIQ SHEP 2024
UNIQ creates community health education Unique:
UNIQ education wing conducted two educational activities at Olive School under the School Health Education Program.
The first one was at their Nuaija campus with BLS & First Aid Training for non-teaching staff and the other one was at their campus at Thumama with puberty & pre-adolescent education for school students. Both sessions ended successfully with the active engagement of candidates.
The sessions were coordinated simultaneously and Ms. Deni Anie - Women’s Wellness Specialty Nurse, interacted with students on “psychological & physiological changes during puberty and health care concerns of teenagers”.
In the other session at Nuaija, Ms. Saleena Koolath & Mr. Irshad Ali - Emergency Experts, took classes on how to handle emergencies and how to give first aid to the needy where the non-teaching staff participated and practiced CPR and first aid skills.
The sessions were coordinated by Mr. Sulaiman Mohammed- UNIQ education wing lead and
Ms. Elizabeth Antony - SHEP coordinator.
Ms Mini Sibi, Ms Bindu Linson Mr. Ameer, Mr. Jiss Thomas & Mr. Joji George were involved in supporting the activities. Ms. Shalini & Ms. Kamala - teachers of Olive School concluded the session with a vote of thanks.
